Votik Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

   Welcome to Votik! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Votik platform, accessible through our mobile application and website at votik.app. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you should not use our services.

   Definitions:

   • "Platform" refers to the Votik app and website.
   • "User" refers to anyone who accesses or utilizes the Platform.
   • "Organizer" refers to entities or individuals hosting events through Votik.
   • "Services" refer to ticket booking, social networking, pre-event chatrooms, and any other services offered by Votik.

2. Account Registration

   To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Privacy and Data Use

   Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

4. Use of the Platform

   Users must be 18 years or older to create an account and use Votik. You agree not to engage in prohibited activities, including:

   • Impersonating others or providing false information.
   • Posting harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
   • Violating the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.

5. Ticket Booking and Events

   • Ticket Purchases: All ticket sales are final unless specified otherwise. Ensure you check event details before making a purchase.
   • Refunds and Cancellations: Refunds are subject to the Organizer's policy. Votik reserves the right to refund tickets in exceptional circumstances.
   • Event Changes: Votik is not responsible for changes, cancellations, or disruptions to events. We will make reasonable efforts to inform users of any updates.

6. Pre-Event Chatrooms

   Votik offers Pre-Event Chatrooms to enhance social interaction for attendees. Content shared in chatrooms must comply with community guidelines. Votik reserves the right to remove inappropriate content and suspend users for violations.

7. Intellectual Property

   All content, trademarks, and logos displayed on the Platform are the property of Votik or its licensors. Users retain rights to content they share but grant Votik a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content in connection with the Services.

8. Limitation of Liability

   Votik provides services "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the services (if applicable).

9. User-Generated Content

   Users are responsible for content they post on the Platform. You must not upload content that violates the rights of third parties, including copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights. Votik reserves the right to remove or modify content that violates these Terms or any applicable laws.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms will be resolved through arbitration in Hospet, India, as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The exclusive jurisdiction of any disputes will be the courts of Hospet, India.

11. Modification of Terms

    Votik reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
